custom. you can cut a slot just in front of the battery and send the wire threw ti the same hole the ESC wire uses.

Just think it is ran thru esc slot. Might try this on mine.

I wonder if they are tires you can even buy from AKA that they are using. My guess is probably some prototype or compound you can't buy. If they are running something everyone could buy then thats pretty cool.

They picked up Cav to help further develop their 1/10th tire program. They are testing, everyone knows that. The tires will be made available once all testing has been completed, just like any other product under development from any company. It's just how the industry works. These tires they're developing are brand new and not yet available, hence the "spy shots" on LRC.

pliers. grab and twist.

So some people were weighing their cars last night. I came in at 1530 with BB, avid, hexes, shorty, triad and a 17.5 motor. I would be a little less but I am using a deans to 4mm, not just the 4mm bullets. So I would think a shorty weight with bb would be around 1525 for 17.5.

Forgive me since I'm sick and can't think right now. But yes pliers is what I use but get the ones that have no grooves or whatever its called flat pliers I think? That way you don't tear up the ends......

Hmm I may have to put my b4 on a diet, I just weighed it in at 1564g but I do have weights added..........

teeforb 01-12-2013 09:41 AM

$279 but if your a super saver member at towers your looking at $240...... Which to me is a steal considering how much it would cost to upgrade a .1 to a .2 like I did lol..................

How much weight? I have the 1/4oz in each rear triangle, 1/2oz next to receiver and the ballast weight. My car is at 1523g with shorty.

if I dont want to hurt a part with pliers, I use a pad between the teeth and the part, normally a paper towel folded 3-4 times. He said he was replacing them, so I assume he will trash them, so no need to make them look nice. In reality, I drill my cups. so I just unscrew the stud, pop the stud out, screw it back in and replace the cup after drilling it.

+1 I have the same weights, but no MIP topshaft and I use heavy deans. you might be surprised how much extra wire and deans weight, lol.
