what do you guys think about running this in a B4.2? not enough weight?

I have a ProTec 70c battery that I love. I don't think this one is a good option the mAh rating is too low for off-road

How can you tell if it is a true 100c?

you cant, that is the problem with batteries there is not a standard test to rate them against. You need to take the companies word for it. ProTek has a 70c so with that I would assume that the 100c is a true rating and not overstated. They must be measuring higher than the 70c packs

There is no such thing as a true 100c battery. That is major over-hype and marketing.

I've read several articles on this very issue, they all refuted these enormous claims of high C ratings.

The folks at SMC batteries have a blog on this very issue and it explains everything in detail. I wish I had the link to it, but, if you have facebook, you can go to their facebook page and it's in there (I believe).

Don't buy the hype. It's just lies lies and more lies.

x2 What I have read and been told by CEOs of various RC battery companies 40-50C is really the MAX.

Mip thrust washers

Anyone use the Mip thrust washers? Are they same as the AE washers?

New body for my soon to be here B4.2 from the one and only Scott Rapoport. Guys got some talent.

Wildcat1971 02-10-2013 05:44 PM

you will probably "make" but the punch might taper off quickly. Like I said, it is not really 100c.

How do you set the FT Ride Height Gauge? Mine doesn't seem to set correctly...

Each of them reminded you what you like about B4s.

I'm glad I started that way; I must admit that if I had seen a 22 before I saw a B4 I probably would have bought it instead.

Sometimes things just work out, I guess. :tire:

There is a line in the sliding part of the plexi that goes over the increment scale on the plexi behind it.. hold the tool up to a light while slowly sliding it up and down, it should be obvious. I assume you removed all the little bits of paper from it already.

That's the best combo at WC IMO..theyre perfect when they get really worn in and that line happens in the tire after a few mins
