Use the RTR plastic shock bushing instead ...;)

Will these require spacers on the back of the shock bushing? I noticed the 4.2 bushings are longer then the older ones.

I enjoy making other things work to improve my car and find it part of the hobby. I may have figured something out that could help make these shocks even greater then they are as i wait patiently for the new factoryone bushings to get manufactured.
When i was running a 22, i made some different shock bushings and the difference was night and day on the bench and on the track.

The o-rings are the same part number for V2 and big bores. It's right there in the big bore parts list. If you measure the shafts, they're only about .005" or .13mm smaller. In terms of a 3mm shaft, that's a 4% difference. After the rings swell even a little, they stick a lot on V2s. On the big bores, they are still pretty darn free after they swell, even significantly.

I guess I will try and show off my wiring.

Almost done besides I need to solder on some black motor wires.

Although, I am going to keep the red transponder wires, and the red positive batt. plug.

Wheel nuts are 11/32"
I don't remember the shock nuts because I don't use standard.
Slipper nut is 1/4"

Most kits with at least 3 nut drivers will get you covered.

Why is there so much discussion on the shock bushings. If you don't like the metal on metal then run the plastic ones otherwise stick with what's in the kit

Is it really that hard to figure out how to install the plastic ones. They just slip on, it's pretty simple. If they end up shorter than your blue ones you will need to add spacers

Has to be the easiest change on the car besides tires

11/32 = wheels
1/4 = slipper
3/16 = shocks and lock nuts on the rear hub carrier

3/4? Maybe on a real car... It's 11/32

You need to scratch up that wing a little bit lol. I like the white ball caps, are those RPM?

In due time, my wing will all be jacked up I am sure.

Yes, those are RPM ball cups. A must in my opinion.

I have the alum bulkhead and all it does is snap arms like crazy. And I have never broken a bulkhead. The only parts I have ever broken are shock towers (mostly rear), ubraces, ball studs, front a-arms , plastic servo arms and I once broke a carbon servo saver.

That's a nice job.

All-black is a good scheme, but it's not the only good scheme.
