If you needed more pack, you could try to fill one of the 5 holes with CA or something like that.

I am sure it has been asked but any set up sheets from this years Reedy Race? I check the AE website and no go.

looking at losi 4x57 or 4x56 tho... or maybe avid 2+2 1.6/1.1 pistons...

anyone running anything non-ae in the big bores they have found they like in the buggy?

maybe these....

In process of making the switch from the 22 to the B4.2, what tools do I need to build this kit?

Tools to build multiple shelves to hold all the trophies you will win with the B4.2!:sneaky:

the kit comes with all of the tools you will need. But allen wrenchs can suck, so the hex drivers are nice. The plastic nut wrenches work fine though imo.

My high traction set up is pretty good but I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to the car for loose conditions. I have the AE's recommended big bore set up, black front spring 30wt, 1.6 piston and the rear has a white spring, 27.5wt, 1.6 piston. The only thing I change for the loose track is a green rear sping which helps. The rest of my set up is below.
2 washers under the front ball stud
1 washer under rear ball stud
Ballast weight
5 grams in rear and front triangles
Ride height 24mm

Im not sure which battery you are running but i seem to like a heavier pack on a looser track surface. You did go down a spring rate so thats a good thing. Maybe leave the same set-up and springs you run on the high grip track and try a full size pack like the reedy 5500 60c i believe it is, they weight about 306 grams. I was running one without the rear ballast weight just weight in the rear triangles and battery forward and it was really good with white rear spring and gree nfront spring and same oil and pistons. I would also try the A hubs if you dont already have them on and 2mm on the inner ball studs front and rear and maybe 3.5 toe block. Im not saying the heavy pack is the answer but if you have one laying around give it a shot. Just this last race day i tried what most of the team guys are running in practice and liked it since i came to the track with a slightly different set-up on my car and didnt end up running my current "heavy car set-up" but think im gonna go back to it for my local track.

I tried a full pack this week and it terrible. I am going to play with shorty positions to ge the right front to rear feel. I thought with the BB it would be plush with the full pack, wrong. Felt like i had no pack and the rear was all over the place. lol, I am about ready to put my v2's back on with the losi pink pistons.

Wolfpack (260g) or Regular pack (~300g). Peeps seem to like the in-between wolfpack.
