I tried a full pack this week and it terrible. I am going to play with shorty positions to ge the right front to rear feel. I thought with the BB it would be plush with the full pack, wrong. Felt like i had no pack and the rear was all over the place. lol, I am about ready to put my v2's back on with the losi pink pistons.

You need to try my setup 100% as specified below: front: 1.6 pistons 30 ae oil black springs 3 limiters inside tower outside arm 24mm ride height 1 balls stud washer rear: 1.6 pistons 27.5 ae oil green springs 2 limiters inside tower inside arm shaved brace 2 washers A hubs 24mm ride height Ballast weight, battery 75% forward (1 pad rear, smaller front). 7g in rear triangles. Diff std to tight. After that, play with rear roll center going up in rear washers for more corner exit stability and down in washers for more infield traction. I have a list of things to try if my car ever gets not awesome, but so far, ain't change'n anything :) Wayne -- I have been afraid of spending the $100 on the bb upgrade from v2 shocks w/bb springs since I feel pretty dialed but some buddies just got b4.2s so I will be trying their cars soon |

Couple of questions for you guys. On the set up sheets some of the set up sheets call for 1/2oz "Behind" the servo, to me that would mean in the battery tray? I think they mean in "front" of the servo under the steering link? Are you guys checking ride height on the rear under the gearbox or under the front part of the T plate. Took a couple years off to run TLR but really glad to be back running RC10's!

Not sure if they changed the compound on the final production ones but I get less rear traction in every way compared to gold barcodes. I put them together with proline cc foam just like the gold barcodes I run which may not be good form that tire I'm guessing. After using them on 3 different occasions side by side with my barcodes I'm getting ready to cut them open to take the foam about before I trash them. I really wanted them to do good being usa made and having a funny name but I just don't like them.
Was really disappointed with the handle bar not working out , really had my hopes up for AkA on this ... I will be testing the new Sweeps tomorrow . Stay tuned to this channel...:batman: |

The Ions have worked at 4 different tracks with clay, they're awesome. They're very consistent and have a lot of forward bite. The popular tires were suburbs v1, Barcodes v1, bk bars and the Ions replaced them all.
Currently looking for the right rear tire for ocrc when its dry and want to try suburbs and ions, its so loose over there when they let the track run dry. I have only been back in the hobby 3 months and still building my tire collection back up. |

The ballast really makes a difference in rear end stability. |

Wayne, on your ballstud washers are they the 0.030" or the newer metric ones. 0.030 = roughly 0.75mm and I am not sure how much of a difference it would make to be honest but I am still amazed at how much difference a 1mm adjustment makes with these cars.
