You say it's your birthday....is my birthday too yea...

Sweet deliveries form the wife and kiddos today for my 40th...2x AVID motor centering kits, AVID esc tray and Yaiba hubs. Not going to do the motor centering kits until after tomorrow's race but I think I'll put the hubs on.

Thanks. Now I have to figure out whether I'm running the Yaiba hubs on my stock B4 or,y mod B4. same for the esc tray...maybe for that though I just get a second one.

let me know how you like the fit and finish of those hubs.

Maifield's running the AVID shock mounts and the AVID Triad slipper. :sneaky:

rdeppen 09-06-2013 06:32 PM

Is that Maifields car at the Clash? Looks like he's running a triad slipper.

Finally one of the top cats catching on that the Avid shock mount setup is far superior then the aluminum on aluminum or the cheap RTR bushings and jacked up looking washers and nuts.

notice how that pics looks like a jconcepts front pin brace? lol

another picture from the day he is running what looks like ghea pin and bulkhead.

Wildcat1971 09-06-2013 06:39 PM

I dont see any avid stickers on his car. He not sponsored by them? Nice to see he liked the parts and was not even sponsored. I would assume the JC sponsorship might confict.

This is an awesome looking set up, I'm wondering if this wont be available as a kit in the near future. Rather than buying a rear motor b4.2 kit and a Centro conversion and spending $450 for a roller......especially if the AE drivers do well at the worlds in a few weeks. It will also be interesting to see who (if anyone) switches back to rear motor after Dakotah laid it down in 2wd at the nats.
