I haven't run it on the truck yet but I have the Garo disk on the back with a vented plate and then the VTS on the front on my Mod Buggy and I love it. The same set-up is going on my truck that will hopefully be finished by Christmas.

The Triad pads last really well, I typically change them every 2 months of racing weekly. Two things: 1) the pads have a small change after break in, so we advise re-checking the slipper after a couple runs to tighten it a bit. Also wipe off any white dust from break-in. 2) The clutch has more power capacity, so it can still drive your car even when it's too loose, but this will make excess heat. Please take the time to confirm it's set right before running a bunch of packs.

With the two people above that just posted our options keep growing. Not to mentions the advice that comes from them being spot on. I eventually want to try a Triad but right now I want the two to be identical more because I know what the VTS does and what I want as far as setting.

Yeah, I have been running mine for a month now. I dont know what the break in period is, but this past weekend I could "heat" is slip. I has a 180 into a double. I would turn the corner and punch it and it would slip for like 2-3 feet. So I gave it 1/4 turn and it stopped slipping...but the power was about the same. I was more worried about over heating it. I will probably tear it down tonight and check the wear. I need to relube my diff anyway.

what is a good starting point on shocks.. oils. 30/30? medium spring? harder front than rear? softer front than rear?

going to do the big spring conversion on the V2 shock bodies. instead of the full big bore conversion

yeah, softer rear. In almost every t4 setup I have seen its green rear and then green or something close up front. remember to get the AE bigbore spring cups.

Yep, it's more universal to the industry std. I'm very happy with them. Have the JC axles on the way. Want to see how they compare to the Associated ones
