RC10T4.1 Thread.
Well, I sure hope this works.
This thread is for the discussion of the Team Associated RC10T4.1 Stadium Truck.
Since the other thread is 99% buggy, now the truck has it's very own.

I run on a high-grip, low dust, indoor, clay track. Experimenting with my battery placement. Where do you guys place your battery? Forward, mid, or rear?

I run outdoor high grip/blue groove. I run with a 1/2oz of weight at the back of the battery tray under the rear tower 1/2oz next to the rx and 1/2oz on the servo. I have one small foam between the rear weight and the battery which leaves 2 small foams up front. If you need a little more front grip move one foam from the front to the rear.

does anyone run weights in the triangles?

This shouldn't get closed. One look at the other thread and you can plainly see it's 99% buggy. At over 500 pages, it's impossible to locate truck information. The T4.1 deserves it's own thread. The Mods should understand that.

Hopefully this stirs up more interest in another 1/10 scale class. I kinda miss running my T4, and was considering selling it. However, I've changed my mind and I'm gonna get some T4.1 upgrades and new running gear.

The only reason I got rid of mine is because I had the only Stadium Truck at the track. Hoping interest grows and I will get another T4.1.

Stadium truck actually has a pretty full class at my local track in Palm Beach. I'm just getting back in the hobby after a 15 year hiatus and the most fun I remember was racing my T2. I raced my T4.1 that my family bought for me last week for the first time and had a blast. Felt like a kid again. That's what the hobby is all about.

yeah the talk of the 22t seems like its bringing alot of interest back into stadium truck... a local losi racer even had his 22t for the trophy race the middle of this december...
personally i cant wait for the release to finally swap my ae rides over to big bore springs...
because the green losi big bore spring is very close to an AE blue on spring rate too if they do come with a blue 22t spring it will be slightly stiffer then an ae gold.

Buggy is getting huge, stadium trucks will likely follow suit. They're faster than short course, but not as fragile as buggy.
For those running on blue-groove clay, ribs on the front or something else? I need to pick up a pair of front tires and at my track it's a 50/50 split between ribs and subcultures.
