truck 2, would be a FT truck, blue TI TB's and blue motor plate.
Does truck 1 have CVD's? If so those are another FT addition.
Early FT shocks, as in on the T3, were not threaded so to say all FT shocks were would be wrong. You have FT shocks they just might not be from a T4.
again I'm still checking, so relax before you get all pissy Karnage.

I never got the Team Edition thing either you want to save money and buy a RTR or you want all the good parts and are willing to pay for them (FT). OK you want the CVD's but not the Ti TB's. I just never got that, just my opinion.

I was under the impression when the Factory Team moniker came out much later they had threaded bodies, but I could absolutely be wrong about this. I used to peak back and check out the cool stuff that had come out from time to time, just never had the money or time to pull the trigger until recently.

FT kits didn't come out until 99/2000 with the B3/T3. Threaded shock bodies didn't appear til almost a year after the B4 was introduced. Then all the FT kits included them after.
All the old "team" kits had the hard coated shocks. They were always the first kits to be released. Now that RTR became popular, they are now the intro cars and FT are the only kits made.
Back on the old T2, graphite shock towers were the only carbon/graphite options available. The later released B2 started having carbon options. Since then it's always been an option.
I'm a little disappointed that all the new FT .1 kits come with the very soft plastic, because we all change it out for the carbon arms and top plate and rear brace.

Bought a used T4. The guy didn't know that much about it and I'm a newb to the whole RC thing. It has the Velineon motor with a mamba max esc. No clue on anything else really. Looks like a few rpm parts. But I would like to start racing and hopefully get competitive. Any info on this truck or upgrades would be appreciated. Oh and what would a good lipo battery be for this combo? Read the whole thread and I think I kind of have an idea but any thoughts would be appreciated!

I have several Gens Ace 5000mah 50c packs and I think they're great. Bang for the buck they're hard to beat and ROAR approved.
edit: Now that I can see the pics from a computer instead of my phone this is what I would do. I would clean up the wiring, rebuild the shocks, get new bearings, service the diff, and put it on a track. Upgrade as stuff breaks.

I have been racing in GA for years now and stadium trucks have been non existant. Last year the 1/10 buggies took off and this year we are starting to get a lot of people setting up mod stadium trucks. We havent had a race yet but I know of 8-10 people getting them ready.
I bought two ft t4s off here used and plan to run them on a medium bite large 1/8 scale track. I plan on using 7.5 for myself with a gtb2 and ball diff, my son 8.5 with havoc and ball diff. Ga red clay but sometimes dusty. Any tips on the gearing, run times for that big a motor, and tire choices. Thanks
