I am not sure if that is true. The JC axle is a different design and may require the thicker sc10 rear hex to be the same as the b4 hex and AE axle. But the JC axle is not out yet, so we cant confirm. I only saw a picture of it.

Ok don't feel like reading through tons of pages so hopefully you guys don't mind answering a few questions. What gearing would you recommend for a reedy 17.5 on a high bite motorcross large clay track. As well as those running the big bores what springs are you running (avid or AE). Thanks

Not to burst your bubble but those questions are better off asked at YOUR track.

the sc10 hex has a higher offset (thicker) than the b4 hex (thinner), so the wheels will get pushed out farther. i have both sets of hexs and have checked. so unless they did something really fancy with the bearings and steering block, the sc10 hexes with the JC axles will make the t4 wider

At WCRC the most common setup recommended is 75/29. I run that gearing with some timing on motor and it comes off the track around 135* after about 10 min. Give it a try prim.

the sc10 rear hex is wider, but the axles may have different offsets themselves. I am sure brent would have used an sc10 rear if that was required, lol. not like he has to buy them.

Thanks prim, Coyote Hobbies is about the same size now as WCRC so I will def. give that gearing a try.

The Jconcepts axle is machined and has a shoulder where the "C" clip would normally go. So you dont have to worry about over tightening and binding the front end up. Its a little longer than the AE's so that you can use a SC10 rear hex. Not sure exactly how much wider the front would be with the Jcon axle and SC10 hexes over the AE with the B4 rear hex but my guess would be 3-4mm.
