Without patience we wouldn't last long in this hobby.
Not just with others, but with our cars!! lol
You may snap one or two bellcrank assemblies after this mod at first. I have snapped some even without it being glued before. Generally what makes it snap is if you rub a corrugated tube at speed. Jump landings and knocking wheels generally won't break anything. My T4 has been abused pretty hard and hasn't broken one in a looong time. Never broken a servo in a T4 either, glued or not.
(Knock on wood now)

Wow, you guys got me, well, way confused. I have never had a problem with my servo savers in my T4. Or at least never had a problem that wasn't fixed with putting a new one in. I have found that if you over tighten them they will strip out and get loose, and if you take one apart, you have to be really careful when putting it back together, or you could cross thread the hex bolt and strip it out. Anyways, I have never glued one, have no problems with steering, and I run it on ozite with foams, so you would think, if there was a problem, I would notice it.

i shoe gooed mine so it can give. i had totally new steering in my truck and put in steering bearings + hd spring and you could still see the wheels not turn on a high speed corner. shoe goo has some give but still hasnt come undone in 8 months.

Could you please advice me ?
i am preparing a race with my T4 but a race on a carpet track. I have no idea about what kind of tire i should use. If you know more than me, lets share your experience.

is this race over jumps as well?
We were allowed to use foams or road hawg / road rage tires on the T4. The problem with the foams was that we found the vehicles wanted to nose down hard off of jumps where a simple change to standard rubber tires made them jump fine. Could be something with added weight of the rotating tires bringing the front end up where the foam doesn't have that.
I would say find out what the fast guys are using, and go from there.

Have a look to this : http://www.petitrc.com/prcrace2007/p...pisteanim3.avi
this is a modelisation of the track.
so you can see many jumps.
i can not see what other guys will be using because it is an annual race far from my home city. i would like to prepare and buy some tires before going there. i use to race on outdoor tracks.
i'm not sure that foam tires are so good for jumping (i m afraid they will be drestroy on bad landing

I ran my T4 last winter on a carpet coarse and used duratrax street tires. I was amazed at how they hooked up. I've heard alot about the tire called wiener dudes or something like that too, but never seen one. You're best bet is to email or call the place that is putting on the race and try to get some info that way.

I scanned this thread but did not find what I am looking for .
Has anyone put the quick release from the GT2 on the B4? I have heard that there is a conversion for the T4 and I want to get that. But can it be done for the B4?
