I like it. I like the weight it provides down low, as well as the fact I don't feel like I am getting pushed around on the track by heavier vehicles. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about the belt tunnel getting compressed from what I can tell, though, personally I wouldn't get it for only that reason.

Cons on it are that it can screw with reception of your transponder. I put my transponder initially in the receiver box but had issues. On top of the receiver box it was fine.

I absolutely love it. I bought mine off a member on here for $50.00. Honestly though I would not have paid the price for a new one. I would have just added weight to the stock chassis. Even with the Exotek it still needs just a little more weight for the bigger tracks if you aren't good at keeping it under control. Im happy with mine with just the Exotek. After more practice and less tinkering. I can drive my SC104x4 better and faster then my SCTE.

lol... Yeah thanks guys.. I have 7k up front and 5k in rear. I just adjusted height to 24mm f/R.
Looks way better.. I pretty much started with the Mayfield setup linked above..
I'll just test the clicker and diff pins at the track this weekend.
Thanks again for the good points.

you dont need chassis brace with exotek chassis. thats a plus. but it is pricey... truck was 225 out the door and exotek is $105.00. i find it hard to justify that upgrade. my brother uses it.. I dont see much change from his to my stock chassis especially since i have weight in mine in front and rear and right side.

I glued a stack of nickels together to make one. Cost under a buck, plus the shoe goo.

Thanks guys... Looks like my first order at tower coming up.. The enduros are pre-mount and they rock!!!

Yeah the nickels gooped into the chassis and bolts up front for adjustable weight added about 6oz to the rig..

Overall I really enjoy my setup. Best guys at our track run 25sec laps and I ran 28 with understeer and a bit of rear kick. (Now corrected)

Cheers.!

Haha, that's funny. I carry 3 long sockets in my tool box, outside diameters of 23mm, 24mm, and 25mm. Just roll them under the truck.

I'm running Maifield's setup minus the locked hub plus the exotek chassis.

I literally:

Swapped over to the exotek
Maifield setup
Saddle packs

~ In one go. I had to relearn how to drive the truck 25 minutes before the first Qualifier. Was terrified how the race was going to do after how bad practice went.

Truck feels amazing. 100% 'me' causing 2 seconds slower than TQ

where is a good place to get lead weight? besides an auto store. Seems like everyint on amain is iron weights.

Also, is anyone here running stick packs with a 550 motor? trying to figure out how much lead I need.

Are you guys putting the 60grams under the spur from maifields setup?
