I looked up that servo as well and it says "use Nicad batterys only" I dont think that is a quality servo. If you are on a budget I would recommend the Savox line of servos. They are reasonably priced and work great.

Who told you to buy that servo?

I checked it out... it would be ok for a beginner now that im thinking about it. A medium reaction time servo would be good for you. I think you will like it and it is ok for lipo applications too. Did you buy a sc10 4x4 build it yourself kit?

Im sorry one guy selling it says good for lipo setups, then 4-5 guys selling it says nicad only use and i saw the box. I apologize its the wrong servo for you. Id go with savox 1258 tg at around 67 bucks.

What will happen if you use a servo not meant for lipos?

The only used for Ni-cad does not apply to electric RC only Nitro. Speed control voltage is regulated to the receiver to 6v so you are fine to use any servo that has the balls to steer a 6lb truck.
