Hey Guys,
My son and I are in the process of setting up our SC10s. I picked up a few Orion 6500 90c lipos here. However, my venom pro charger only charges @ 5A max. Is there any longevity or performance impact of charging my lipo @ 5A? Should I perhaps invest in a different charger that can support > 5A? Let me know your thoughts. Your help is greatly appreciated. Happy racing.

Also keep in mind, if you want to charge more than 5 or 6 amps. Most likely you will need a separate power supply. I've gone through quite a few chargers because of changing types of batteries. So my advice is to get the strongest charger you can afford. Therefore if you go into a higher cell or different chemistry of battery, you will have that option. Yes the price tag can be a little hard to swallow. But you will end up thanking yourself and saving yourself money in the end. I hope this helps and please feel free to pm me with any other questions.
i was able to have a sneak peak at his truck while he wasnt around.. he's still running the c hub towers but from the looks of it it looked different from the normal "c" hub tower.. i bought the jconcepts A,B,C bag of carbon towers to try and make his set up closer to mine.. had about 7-8mm in the rear..
I am having a problem with my tires packing up with dirt so badly that I mine as well be running slicks. I have tried Cityblocks, Enduros, Trenchers, Tazers and even the stock tires and all have the same issue. I went towards the Cityblocks and Tazers since the track is hard and very loose (almost like pebbles on top) when it dries out and they seem to handle that pretty well. A long time ago I used to spray the tires down with PAM which helped huge on the 4 minute runs in 2wd buggy but it does nothing for this truck. Any suggestions?
