What gauge is everyone using for ride height that doesn't cost more than a pizza
I use a Mugen wedge that I got for my 1:8 buggy years ago. And your not helping bringing up the pizza again. The banner went away and now you mention pizza again

Cheapest gauge I have found is a 24mm screw... Just slide it under the chassis..

thanks. Set with camber as using the Academy clone of the Mugen gauge.

I know it will break WC's heart, but I will give the Losi ride height one a try.

standard is inside on tower, and middle of hub, but 8mm is the same length as inside on tower, inside on hub (within .5mm)

also he may be relating "standard" to maifields new non-8mm setup.

So that's taking a lot of roll out of the truck right? Negative 1 or more on the ball stud height and then shorter camber link to reduce roll even further.

May try the mod someday for the outdoor track, but haven't felt a need to change where I'm at with my tune, thanx.

Don't know if any of you have driven on road or not but if you did you probably have a setup station.
I use my old huddy 1/10 onroad station on my truck for camber and it's way more accurate than sticking something up against the side of a tire that is not the same all around and the wobble of the front end amplified with the larger circumference that your measuring from.

A friend used his camber tool and for the hell of it I threw it on the huddy and he was off by about .5° front and .3° rear and none of the measurements were to the mm.

got an 1/8 scale setup station that has a variety of of hex types included for 1/10 usage, may have to give that a try though not sure how to go about it.

100% If you got it, use it for sure! I do the front with rear tires on and rear with front tires on... one end at a time. The end with the tires is not on the board to level the truck. Got a setup board? Would assume so but you need one.

The 1/8 scale one will be tall enough to clear the shock tower too so you can get your steering centered, set toe out and the steering throw balanced perfectly
You will tell the difference with a correctly set chassis.

My 1/10 one is not tall enough to clear the tower

almost embarrassed to say it, but never used one. I have had it sitting in the box for some time now, just haven't found the need or time on my 1/8 buggy, and I heard there may be some clearance issues on the sc10 4x4. Will give it a try though.

After you have ride height set...
Slide the truck back and forth then push down on car many times throughout your adjustments.
