Get AE black grease for the thrust washer (load it up with plenty) and if they dont have AE clear diff lube, they will have some kind of diff lube there... doesn't really matter as long as it's diff lube.
Thanks again for the help guys.
I'll try to post pics later, I have to leave the house for a while. I'm presuming I'll be able to get back to work today on the SC10 RCshox c-diff stuff.

I'll be driving by the LHS in a few minutes.
If they don't have the AE clear diff grease...
I do have Diff fluids 50k & 100k... could that work?

You'd have to order the full kit if you don't own a v1.
Thanks,
That probably explains it...
I think I'm out of business for the RCshox C-diff for now.
I'm hanging on to my hopes of better performance, but this is disappointing.

No, diff oil will not work. They will have diff grease, get whatever they have.
Look back at the last page regarding the installation of the thrust washer.
Get black grease and diff grease.

You got the upgrade kit and not the full v2 kit for $50+?

See if Marcus will refund the v1 upgrade and get the full v2 kit.

I requested the full kit. I was probably sent only the upgrade. I'll have to check what I was billed for...
so much of my RC hobby luck and work is going frustratingly badly lately... I may need to take a break for a while.

Don't feel bad doing that, I did. Remember this is supposed to be fun and is a hobby. I sympathize with your frustration, I been there.

When you are at the hobby shop, if you don't have 4 spare ball stud spacers... pick some up.
You will want to space out the cover so the spur gear does not contact it.
