Ilanstylz. It sounds like your servo is toast. Try plugging in another servo and see if it cures your glitching. I have had a few futaba rx's go bad. If you can pull the plugs up and away from the case, and they all move together, it is bad.
Spektrum 6040......
I'm going to talk to a tekin rep and see what they say, I may just turn in my rx8 for warranty repair if the internal bec is messed up. I just tried 3 diff. rx's so now I am thinking its the rx8...........Because on my other rc's the rx's work fine even with a transponder and no bec, and tekin rs.

I'm almost 100perc. positive its the rx8, I hooked up all three of my rx's I have to the sc10w/rx8 and the same thing, hooked up all the rx's to my t4w/tekinrs and worked perfectly even with the transponder and no glitchbuster. Took my rx8 and took it apart and it was nasty, filled with dirt/clay particles from my local track.
I already filled out an RA, and hopefully its still covered under warranty, if not that'll suck but luckily I bought two brushless hobbies 120a esc's so I can use the extra one in the meantime until I find out if my rx8 will be replaced/fixed under warranty.

Maybe just a cleaning out is all it needed. Did you try it after doing that? Had that issue with another ESC. Carpet tire grit got inside and shorted across the board. Cleaned it up and worked like a charm!!!
With some regrets, I must admit to falling out of love with my SC104x. The divorce just became final and she's moving out tomorrow. I may come back to another one some day, but for now, I will survive. I..will....survive.
Oh, I don't think my other cars or the nitro sedan that just moved in will mind...

Good luck to you...
Take your pick, tenshock, tekin and there are a few others putting a good 4 pole motor out now.
What esc and battery will you be running?
Edit: I see you have a rx8, good.
Personal preference is tenshock, it's a 550 can 4 pole. The tekin is fast too, it a roar legal 540 can 4 pole.
Thanks!
There are 3 other SC10 4x4s in that video. The RTR with the monster body, the all orange one (FT) and the leader (Black and green, completely stock
).
For gearing with a pro4 (4600kv) on a hot day like that what pinion should be used with the 60T spur? He had a 14T on but it was getting hot so he had to drop down to a 12T because no one had a 13T. Does that sound right?
