Which one you think is more realistic ?
Ae selling out of round gears ?
or
Beginner B-4 drivers learning how to drive, landing hard on the back end of their rides...

SOME of MY AE spurs are bad, including the one NIB with my b4.1 kit, told you this before. Are all AE spurs bad, probably not, never said they were.
Even though Kim. makes AE spurs, at the end of the day I have for many years and will continue to buy actual Kimbrough spurs..That's MY choice..

I don't knock using the Kimbough , only informing to everyone to know that all Ae spur gears are also round & true ....
Not just a few ....

yes ,only proves there is a whole lot of racers who have landed on the tail end of their B-4 hard on landing...

Cherry, you drink the Kool-aid a lot. If a AE team guy told you that running mayo in your shocks would win you races, you would be the first guy in line to buy a jar. Every AE spur I have had was out of round and loud. Kimbrough...not. Kimbrough probably makes the spurs for AE, but it's their OEM grade and not their top grade.
You are wrong ....
None of our team drivers use the Kimbough , not cus they don't like um , cus they don't need um ....

Why buy a new spur when you could have a bent part ?
If I use your advise ?
I would have a new spur
gear & still have a noisy ride .....

Again , all of my rides are quite & use the Ae spur....
because ?
I replace bent plates & shafts , not spur gears ....

I bought a LRP SXX stock spec speedo yesterday . Ran it today . Holy Shit !!! What an awesome speedo . Makes my old Novak Havoc Pro feel like donkey dung . It is so smooth . The braking and the speed are amazing !!!! I really feel like I am going to do well racing this buggy .

Check the motor plate or top shaft, they're more than likeky, one is bent, that'll cause for the spur to wear uneven....
AE spur gears are smooth, the only time I had a noisy spur is when my motor plate bent....
As for the LRP/Novak combo....
I would recommend LRP/LRP combo, those x12 motors are sweet, can't go wrong with them...

Just had an idea..Does anybody know about plastic molding? Is there an easy way to make a copy of the b4/t4 chassis mold, and just create your own mold that is 11.1mm shorter than the t4..I know a guy who has some plastic molding machines, and this would be the cleanest one yet
I would imagine the cost of making the mold wouldn't be worth it though, not to mention..AE might not like it..

...not saying you don't have an up to date piece it's just tough sometimes to know what you're getting with all the running changes AE makes in conjunction with distributor stock levels..
