They still have a lot of the original t4 chassis, they need to get rid of them before they have the actual t4.1 chassis. It's the same as when the b4.1 chassis or b4.1 rear tower came out. Had to get rid of the old stock before the new.

This is a photo of Cav's car after the Final race at the Worlds. It appears to be maybe some weight added to the front bulkhead. I noticed in the setup sheet it didn't indicate any weight added to the front unlike Maifield's. Or this could just be a reflection of the sunlight on the bulkhead. Would running the aluminum bulkhead give you the 1/2oz additional weight that Maifield was running?

I'm more curious about what's behind the esc, are they caps on the esc or is it lead? Cav. normally puts shrink tube on his lead, like on the other side...but then again what appears to be lead on the bulkhead doesn't have any shrink on it either.....

It looks like multiple capacitor's to help keep the speed control more efficient(?). Much Moore or Speed Passion used to offer a bank of capacitor's for similar reasons.

Thats the LRP Capacitor kit that is available separately behind the esc. As far as weight up front...it sure looks like it.

FAIL, my chassis came apart the other day, the braces snapped from landing flat,,, I made straight cuts, glue then clamped together , I added glued braces to the side, flat part and battery, they were plastic from the other chassis. I am going to try over, my dad has the lightest aluminum at his shop so I will cut and paint it and then screw em in=] Maybe i will add i think plexiglass tape? Some tape stuff you paint on my uncle to me about. Short chassis is alright for know=[

I would use thin CF or use the 11mm of chassis you cut off to brace. Take a dremel to sand and lightly rough up the area to glue so it has some "bite" to hold on to.

I think this guy has the cleanest and best modified chassis on here. He was able to eliminate the second battery post and give more surface area to glue.

I was looking at the 2 setups AE posted for Cav and Cgagg and had a couple of questions.

-When they say the put weight on the rear suspension mount, where EXACTLY is that? A pic would be great.

-I noticed they both used Kyosho front springs. Why? Cav used Kyosho Dark Yellows up front and as far as my chart shows me that is exactly the same as AE black. Why use Kyoshos?
