Check their hours, they are usually closed on the weekends, but open late a couple days during the week. Definitely worth dealing with the weird hours tho.

Do you have to make any mods to run the Kyosho springs? Thanks in advance.
No mods required. If you're at OCRC this Sunday I can show you on my car.

You started this thread and your just noticing the springs rubbing? I run the Durango springs on my V2's with no rubbing.

Maybe its because ae has used the same springs since early 90's! Whats weird is that ALL of my older springs never rubbed the shock. Now ALL the ones I buy do. Its simple to fix, just sand down the high spot that causes the bind.

Anyone running a SC chassis on your T4 and if so, what bodies fit the longer chassis?

sometimes my springs rub on the threads of the shockbodies... how do you suggest I sand that down?

Sand the springs to make them sit flush on the mounts, not the shock bodies.

Yeah, I started this thread. Doesn't mean I bought a B4.1 right off the bat. My old RC10 Graphite, RC10 CE, RC10B2 and RC10B3 springs/bodies all eventually rubbed. I figured that 15 years later, AE would have solved the problem but engineering better tolerances between the spring and body.

Let's see some pictures of the Durango springs your B4.1. Thanks!

I think the ae springs sometimes come a little tweaked..they have to be on the shock perfectly for them not to rub. I wore out the bottom cap of the shock from them rubbing so much on the rears..the fronts aren't nearly as bad though.

The springs rub the shock bodies on my old RC10 too. The anodizing always rubbed off of those gold shocks. I have never been a fan of AE shocks.

So took the b4.1 out to Hot rod hobbies for some pratice runs, the track was very slippery my clay tires was struggling for grip, nevertheless it was still fun!

The motor moved a few times caused the gears to mesh, is there a way to prevent the motor from moving? I don't think I can screw the nuts any tighter...

I'm not hating on AE!! The K car and its shocks are totatlly better. Cav must be one hell of a driver. I've had AE cars since 87 so a hater I'm not.
