Yeah, that does suck. You could always change to the carbon chassis. Amain(34.99 carbon vs 22.49 composite) is showing plenty of stock there. So is Stormer(29.95 carbon vs 18.95 composite). There's also a dude that sells aluminum repair plates on ebay. Might copy that idea or order one of those if you're in a pinch.

My LHS has the stock FT plastic one on backorder, and I'm not going to be able to race for at least a week, so I'm hoping they'll get it in stock, or just wait it out and hope it doesn't completely snap. As of right now it will still work until I hit a pipe just right.

You could use JB Weld to hold it together until they come back into stock.

Here's a picture of it..excuse the dirty car..raced last night. Not really that bad, but you can see how one good blow could be the end of it.

It might hold together a little longer. You could use the aluminum front bulkhead to add some strength to the front portion of the chassis.

I actually did break a bulkhead last night haha, but I'll probably just run this thing til it snaps, and hopefully AE will get it's crap together and send out some chassis to the hobby shops.

I would love to hear what you think.

IMO without knowing the exact production reasons the older u brace was lower but still had the height of about 1 spacer so I would think that should be the starting point. I could see even going as far as adding 2 if you sanded it flat to get close to the older style with 1 spacer (This would put you about 1 spacer below flat plastic on a new u brace)?

But I don't know and am just guessing that's why I was asking.
I just installed the C-hubs and ran the middle hole. I didn't have time to play with the setup or even remove the (1) washer that I was running under the inner stud, and it's a step in the right direction. I actually set my personal best time (and I believe a track record) with the change. I'll have more time to play with it next week, and I'll try grinding down the u-brace then. I might actually end up with the rear too locked in.

I am probably going to try it in the SC tonight... I know they say you dont lose steering but I would be worried about that with the b4 or t4.

I was helping someone who was running the older ground down ubrace with the newer outer A hubs... that does not work well fyi

Default Steering more!

I need more steering... You guys think the groovy or the scrubs tires would improve it? I'm running the FT kit tire in the front right now. If you got any other suggestions don't hesitate. Running the Cactus classic track wet.

Default Toe-in & Anti-squat

Ok, I am racing outdoors on a dirt/clay mixture without a blue groove. I am in the process of tearing down my buggy and looking at changing some of the stock setup. I have a couple of questions. Should I take out the anti-squat and increase the rear toe-in, to improve rear traction? I was always told to increase anti-squat to improve the traction, when I was racing dirt oval. Or should I change something else to increase rear traction?

if you increase the rear toe in to much it will push...the track sounds like cactus classic...go on AE's website and look at the setup on there

ive noticed groovies do increase steering on that type of track. also look losi silver tapers possibly. Just ask around the fast drivers on what they are racing
