I believe I follow the other way... the large ones go in the collar and small ones stretch around the top, if you use large ones up top it doesnt seal as well and the small ones fall out of the collars

thanks
Inline have way more turn in, and a little less turn out. Not something i'd recommend for slippery tracks.

ah yes, you guys are correct regarding the o-rings. i remember last year when i was assembling my first v2 shocks i ran into a similar problem. the o-ring was too large for the collars and it was due to using the orings meant for the shock top.

I start by pinching the ring and feeding a corner of it into the slot inside the collar. You will then have one section of the ring in the slot and the other side sticking out. I put my finger over the other side to prevent it from coming out the other end. Does not seem like it will fit, but I just keep stuffing in one section at a time moving around the collar and it eventually seats itself inside the collar.

Once the ring is inside the collar I take a little dab of grease and rub it around the ring inside the collar. If you don't, it will be difficult to thread onto the shock because the rubber will grab the collar.
I ended up figuring out it was just stretched because i moved onto the other 3 orings and they went in real easy.I was able to get the one in but it wouldnt twist onto the body because it just wouldn't set into the collar right oh well orings are cheap. But thanks anyways

Just a quick question guys, what is the thickness of the standard associated plastic rear hexes for the B4.1? i only have some off the SC10 and was thinking of shaving them down to suit to get me going for this weekend.

Thanks,

Chris Hamilton

Finally got my revtech motor in and my buggy is ready to hit the track. Anyone got some good setup's for a tight indoor hardpacked clay track? I know of the one on AE's site but would like to get some other opinions as well. Thanks

I dont have the measurement on me, but can check at home tonight. They are definitely different to the SC10 rear hexes.
