You want to trade trucks?

My buddy's SC10 handles better than mine as well and I can't figure out why. The only real difference is that I have a brushless 17.5 and he has a 27T Stock motor. Is the Stock motor heavier than the 17.5?

I think it's the other way around, the BL has more wire.

Haven't got the car yet (ordered), but looking at the Intellect IP5000 Lipo. It's apparantly a bit thicker. Will this be a problem with the battery strap, or is the longer screw option easy, effective and reliable?

Things goin good, brace still holdin my truck together and lots went out the door. Yay. (plug)
Truck is a handful after several setups and no real drastic change in handling except when I pork it out with a bunch of weight, that gets it settled down.
Next step is get the weight back in it and drop in my own friggin 8.5.
I'm serious as a heartattack!
It just acts like it is too light.
I even tried a super lite oil/spring combo and it is still freakin out, twitchy.

The av car is my 'cuda and it is gnarly (bought it kinda like it is) and I got it right off the drag strip for not really that much $$$$$. Guy was desperate.
Fatties and skinnies, fiberglass and lexan, lite and fast but just for cruisin and not too far.:sneaky:

Gotta love the prostreets!!! This one's mine! That cuda's looking pretty good. Mine hasn't been raced since I bought it about 7 years ago. Don't have the money for it, besides, I'd like to think that RC'ing is a more cost friendly hobby, however, my box of receipts would say otherwise LOL. Anyway, only got the money for one hobby right now, so RC it is! I usually just get mine out on nice days or for trips down to the beer store, b/c like you said, you can't go too far with these things

Hey guys started building the shocks and noticed I have 1 missing downstop spacer for the shock shafts, its says to run 5 for fronts and 2 for the rears but I only have a total of 13 spacers. Would it be a problem to run only 4 spacers in the front instead of the 5.

Run the 5 in the front and 1 in the rear.

Raced mine for the first time today out at Hot Rod's...track wouldn't hold water and the has gotten pretty dusty/loose. Needs to be swept off. The wind was blowing a bit and so I ended up throwing about 2 1/2 oz of lead in the front end to keep it from coming up quite so eagerly on jumps...that and being more aware of brake in the air settled it down pretty nicely.

I couldn't seem to keep the rear end from wanting to rotate all the way around while exiting turns, I loosened my slipper just a touch, turned down my steering speed on the radio, it just seems to really want to rotate around in turns. Just requires some discipline on the throttle, which I don't always have.

Anyone who thinks this is just a T4 with a short course body is out of their minds, though...it handles real similarly to a Slash, in the kit setup.
