my balls work great when lubed real well.

:D

but yea i absolutely love the ball diff. feels like its too hard to get used to how the truck handles with the gear diff. (speaking of the slash gear diff as thats the only one i have exp with) SC10 came with ball diff already.

make sure you get the T4 diff bearings too. The sc10 diff bearings inside dia is larger. I would also buy the tranny case too becuase there not the same either and if you want a snug tranny fit then you might as well get the t4 rear pivot plate.

19 with 87 spur is a good starting point

Get the new associated rims they dont strip, jconepts are a pain in the arse

The J Concepts glue up just as easy as the AE rims but the plastic is harder to strip out.

What are you guys doing to run the Traxxas 12t motor in the sc10? With the 87 spur it hits the motor. Smaller spur or shimming the motor out with washers perhaps?

I have 23/75. It's perfect for the track I run at. I could probably throw more gear to it, but after a 25 lap run I only come off at 140*. I have heard of guys running 25/75.

Can the rear hubs be converted to hex like on the slash. I hate that pin

BuggyKing 08-28-2009 08:29 AM

I am also wondering this...I just like the silver KMC wheel too much to run a slash wheel now...

CBHVR6 08-28-2009 12:28 PM

yeah i do like those wheels too, i think if i remove the filler behind the pin, the slash hex should pop onto it
