I know I saw this posted but now I can't find it, but does the Proline inhubs / hex conversion add offset to stock wheels? I noticed the front hex is the same width as the rear hex. Would running hazard wheels put me over the limit? I noticed today that I was getting a lot of body rub in the front when I wasn't before.

Just a quick question, has anyone heard when Team Associated will be releasing the big bore shocks?

Thanks Greg G

I run the SC10 4x4 FT shocks all the way around on my FT 2wd along with the Xtreme racing carbon fiber GT2 shock tower.

Been running 28/78 with good all around performance.

Mizchief 03-04-2012 07:51 PM

Thanks

So does running AE or JC front hex adaptors with the proline hubs fix the problem?

Sorry for being dense/lazy just got home from racing and about to make my weekly order and going to bed

Ran all weekend (6 races) in 17.5 no timing/no boost on a large med/high bite track. Took awhile to get it figured out but 78/28 gearing with a 17.5 RevTech, end bell timing was 3 lines past 0... This was set-up that was used by the top 5 guys used... Between the 5 of use we went from 72, 75, and 78 spurs with a combo of 22/33 pinions...

Looking for a good gearing combo for a 10.5T, Im currently running 18T/84T and starting to wonder if that isnt a little low...

I read one post where they said the hex rims add no width, some say +3mm, some say you can't mix and match brands, and it's starting to get a little confusing. So.....

Are people widening their SC10's to get a wider footprint?
If this is the play, then what parts?

I don't care to have hex just for the sake of easy change. BUT, if this is a general concensus upgrade and people are liking it, then yes I'd like to do it as well. Just super confused with a few contradicting posts a while back.

Any clarification here?

If you run the AE RS parts, you can run Jconcepts Hazard+3mm wheels and be max legal width.

If you run the Proline parts, they are wider. Plus, come with hexes that are the same size as the Jconcepts rear hexes, but you need to run Rulux or stock AE hex wheels - the +3 Hazard wheels are too wide. You will need a spacer to get it to legal max width. I use Reflex Racing spacers.

Thanks a lot. Sounds like the AE parts and Jconcepts +3 is the cheapest and easiest way to go about it?
