Yeah my bad, I just read it real quick without looking at pic.

No not your fault dude, I saw it too that's why I was asking.

So if you put them up front, they give you 30* of toe in or 30* of camber? I guess I just dont know what the advantage of doing it that way instead of with the links is.

The Factory Team models come with the 30* casters up front

it's neither toe or camber, it's caster

Ok thanks, atleast I know what to search for...

FYI for anyone perplexed by this "caster" business, I found this article...

http://www.rctech.net/forum/4746330-post2.html

Funniest thing about this is, I've got the Factory Team SC10, so I've already got these on my truck. lol It was the A-main listing that threw me cuz it said they were for the rear. Still good to know what Caster means though cuz I had no idea.

"Caster for the rear would be equal to anti squat."

No.

Caster is measured at the spindle and it's a measure of the relationship between the pivot angle of the spindle and the chassis. If it's at a right angle to the chassis you have 0* caster. Caster on the rear would do exactly zero because the rear spindle doesn't rotate. Anti-Squat is changed by changing the angle (relative to the chassis) of the inner kingpin on the control arm.

Kickup would be roughly equal to anti-squat. But still not equal ;).

Looks like a nice tread. Put em on a set of JConcepts Hazzards wheels and you add an extra 6mm of width to your truck front and back. Another thing that occurred to me. You said you raised the ride height, if you go to a more balanced setup, (soften that really stiff front, stiffen that really soft rear) you could actually lower your ride height a bit. lowering your ride height a bit from an overly high ride height lowers your center of gravity and that will instantly improve cornering. And another thing, what is your wheel base ? short, medium or long? Using the washers around the rear hub you can force the rear hub forward, middle or push it back. The longer the wheelbase the more stable the vehicle, the shorter, the more nimble and tight turning. Try different posistions of the washers on your rear hubs. Finally, look at the rear end setup of the factory team drivers, to-in angle, anti squat...etc....

Yea that works great for resolving setup issues on the track, but I'm really looking for a good 3D modeled app / video that helps you understand and see the forces at work and how they interact with each other. I'm slowly learning this but it's really important for me to understand how it works, vs keeping up with a bunch of rules like "stiffer springs do this, more dampening does that"

http://home.scarlet.be/~be067749/58/ is the best I've found so far, between that and playing with settings on Grand Turismo have helped get me up to speed.

Just picked up a FT SC10. Have been running 4wd SC. What are the necessary upgrades. Going to be running indoor 13.5 on carpet. Also what setups are people running on the rug? Thanks.

The main thing is tires. for carpet i would say proline suburbs or sc10 stock tires all around. Electronics of your choice.
Also a swaybar can really help on carpet
