I've run a GTB with a DUO2 17.5 and Team Checkpoint 5k 40C pack geared

OK guys, last night I rebuilt the shocks with 40/35 AE oil. #3 pistons and #1 pistons are still in the shocks as they have been. I have red springs sup front and green in the rear.
I also drilled an extra hole inside of the last available stock hole on the shock tower. I put 3 oz of weight under the rear shock tower behind the battery. I have the 3.5 degree rear toe block in the truck with the .5 degree FT blue anodized hubs. I appreciate all the info on how to tighten the truck up. Thanks |
can you take a picture of where you drilled a hole? What.conditions are you running in?

Is there a difference between the Associated and the MIP ball diffs? Going to upgrade to one and want to get the best and most durable one available. If there is one better, let me know please.

Will it be insane to run SC10 with mamba max pro sc system?
CC website recommend this for 4WD and not 2WD, probably because it's too powerful for 2WD? Please comment cause I would really love to have so much power in my SC10 but do not want to end up regretting buying it cause it's totally unusable. Thanks. |

I just ripped out the CVA's out of my FTSC10. Stupid pins kept popping out and knocking off my tie rod ends. That metal band that slips over the pin kept rotating allowing the pin to come out.
Have you guys found any fix for that? I put the old dogbone setup off my other SC10 on for now. What a giant p.i.t.a. it was. Running a 3800 kv Castle motor with 20/87 and have it dialed back some for 2wd mod, very fun. |

I am planning to change too once Washtenaw is over. I have a total of 4.5* now and will switch to the 2.5* block with 1* hubs for Dirtburners and AMS. I expect that this will help straight line stability and cornering too.
I have only run a ball diff so I cannot provide any feedback on the gear diff. Will the ball diff handle an 8.5t motor? I like the ball diff cause it makes the rear rotate around better but I have a problem getting the truck to square up for straight line speed, it seems one tire is spinning faster than the other fighting for traction when I had the gear diff the car would def straighten out better and square up once I punched it. guess i'm still getting used to the ball diff. |
