so i have everything to need put together and went to hook up the steering. the roller didn't come with the complete bellcrank i guess. i have the hitec servo w/ a aluminum horn and the ballcup on the bellcrank. i need what goes from horn to ballcup. i guess its a ball with threads on the other side?

Yes is would be similar to the ones that hold the turn buckles to the car.

CBHVR6 08-26-2009 09:05 AM

yeah actually there were stock servo horns included that fit hitec servos and i rigged something to work for now!

To anyone with proline split six beadlocks...

I just finished bolting up my first pair and was wondering if anyone else drilled vent holes in the rims.

Another wheel question, are people still having problems with the pin spinning? I got a set of bowties to mount but I dont want to blow a wheel.

Person just stripped both rear rims this weekend and he was running w/o any rear mods. Other people at our track say you should put in some Losi pins which should stop rear hub from stripping out.

i use the longer losi roll pins.... works great. they just fall out when you take the wheel off so you gotta be careful not to lose them.

Proline bead locks are the way to go. A bit pricey but will save you in the long run. Plus they are heavier than the Stock/Jconcepts wheels.

Why would that be a good thing?

trdsupra88 08-26-2009 03:35 PM

thnaks, Id rather save weight and have the looks of the stock wheels, I may just wait for an updated wheel from AE.

Phazewun 08-26-2009 03:51 PM

<3 AE wheels they are the best if you glue them correctly.

im thinking about ripping off the stock tires off and throwing on some paddles tires

Just dont know if the paddles will clear my body cause i dont want them ripping up my new paint.

Yea :flaming: mo&%)#$&E*#*&# stripped on me this weekend. $20 for goosebumps and $8 for rims, less than one battery and the right wheel stripped.

I called associated today, and will send a new pair of rims in exchange for the old ones, for free, though they said tough luck on the tires.

So $28.00 later I have another rear set of the same wheels and new tires, again, with one for a spare, and hopefully updated wheels on the way.
