I retuned my Tekin rs because it kept thermalling on me no matter what I was geared at. Somebody told me the stock Tekin settings aren't good for a 4wd but regardless, I got an lrp and it lasted through 4 races last night do you have a fan on yours? My lrp still gets to about 140 with a fan so I think the fan is a big help

When I first bought the car and seen the body I thought I would have heat issues . I'm running a Tekin RS Pro 7.5 and believe I have a 19 toot pinion . All night my Motor temp was 130 and ESC was 140 .

I finally got to run my Durango and get a real race night with it. I must say it has A TON of steering. I raced a b44 two weeks ago because my speedo fried up, it was fun but man that thing pushed in the corners compared to the rango. The only problem I had last night was when the track was perfect I kept rolling after the straight. I feel like I had way too much steering and way too much traction which isn't a bad thing, I can deal with that

I also noticed at the beginning of the night it felt more like a 2wd then a 4wd. Is there any rule of thumb to make it pull out of corners rather then spin out? I toned down my finger and that helped

These aren't bad things and I figured I'd ask because I have no idea what different setups do. I love this car and can't wait to race Wednesday night with it!

Hey guys. I am looking at purchasing a Durango buggy, but I believe the SMC Saddle Pack 4900 I currently have is too tall for the car. The lipo is 26mm tall. Can anyone help me out on whether this will fit?

Thanks,

Brad Shearer

I think you have to stick to it being under 25mm... the rear drive shaft goes right over the batteries

Ive got a 35C IP4200 for sale as well... not wanting too much for it...

So. I have settled on a setup for my car

Front
Dark green springs/3 hole pistons/40 weight shock oil
top outside camber link/ 0* camber and toe
10k front diff weight

Rear
Light Green springs/3 hole/30 weight oil
top inside camber/0 camber/1 toe
2/4 antisquat dive thingy's
5k rear diff weight.

The only thing i am thinkign about trying is 7k/3k weights in the diffs. BUT, as of irght now, my car is CLEARLY the fastest in the corners and around the track period... just need to figure out how to be more consistent.

Dlewis4: What are your shock hole mounting positions front/rear?

I have close to the same setup but would like to take a tad of steering out of the front. I think all I might need is a simple shock relocation.
