i want a set, they would be perfect for minis! If you have ever worked on setup for a tourer, then you know these would be a great addition to a mini. Simply because you can now set totally adjustable droop now. When someone finds where to buy em let me know!

Y'know, I popped onto the thread here, saw those things and thought that they were just another excuse for being lazy and not building your shocks right in the first place.

It took about 10 seconds for me to say...COOOOOOOLLLLL!!!!!

I thought about having greasy, shock oil covered hands for about 9 seconds.

I want me some!

I have diff shock length for diff tracks. No 1 size fits all shock length. at TITC, I was using 57 front, 58 rear. Anyway, I highly discourage the use of TRF touring shock body with mini shaft cos essentially it is different as you will limit the travel of the shock when compressing. If it works for you, I guess it is ok but I really advise against it.

Sorry for bad illustration

It appears there are only 2 shops carrying the new, nifty droop limiters. RC Mart carries a few items by Corsair. Corsair also sells under the name Novatech.

Anyhoo, I've emailed our best new friends in the world to see if one can buy direct.

Yet more new shells for our Minis!

First up is the Autobianchi A112 (best known to most people as the Fiat 127) A pretty cool little jigger for those who love the classic 70's hatchbacks

But the one I like is THIS one. A super-cool little hotted up Suzuki Carry Pickup. I SOOOO want one of these!

Both made by Team Atlas, and available now on their Beat 4WD Mini chassis. Not sure about just getting the shells by themselves yet...

I have been meaning to try this, but always seem to forget. The M03r comes with rear alum uprights, there are 2 holes, upper and lower, do they do anything? Currently I got mine on the upper hole.

The lower hole will help reduce the amount of camber change on the rear end, and give less camber overall (if using the fixed length rear link). Good if your finding the rear end to be snappy... but i've been tending to run mine in the upper hole recently, no issue with it

i've always understood that using the lower hole in the upright - resulting in a higher inner pivot point - will generally increase the roll of the car at that end...and with other things in consideration, generally increases traction.

Lower outer pivot point will lower the roll center resulting in more roll and in theory gain more traction but makes car more snappy on intial turn in to the decreased camber gain and more initial roll and therefore take away traction mid corner because of decreased camber gain.

Thanks guys, I will try it on the lower hole during one of my practice packs to see if I see an advantage or disadvantage.
