It was totally dialed in the main. Not really sure how my motor compared to the two leaders but one of them said I was catching them. Unfortunately I got too far back early on to dice it out with them but a 3rd place finish with a bunch of great 17.5 racers was fine for me first time out racing sedan in 8 years

Can't wait to run mod in the near future

I will try the Team Powers 36R tires next time to see how they do since they are the Reedy tires.

Later
tnx for posting... your car rans like mod and TP might hav some grip since most of the guys on track were running those tires.

I race with a lot of xray and serpent drivers and talk of low friction super flexible drive belts came up. Do you really notice a diffrence between belts and who makes one for the TC6

front belt => trf 416

rear belt => use ae

I do not see difference for softer belt from trf or yokomo at front
it lost tooth on hard breaking in modified

regards!

ill try to ask again, hate to race with the car and not having any spares in the box (there is no local hobbystore where i race..)

since there are no tc6.1 parts in stock anywhere, what "old" tc6 suspension parts fits on the car?

really needs a answer so ican order some spares.. or does anyone know any onlinestore that has the 6.1parts in stock?

I gave some T6 Chubs to a guy who needed them for his 6.1 He made them work. I dont think anything else will work but im not sure. I know the arms and steering blocks were changed as well. Im not sure if you can use the rear hubs either...probably but you would have to account for the toe angle.

Good luck...its sad when we cant get AE parts .....its one of the reasons i went with the TC6.

So that there is more flat spot towards the motorcan?
And therefore the pinion can be put further on the motoraxle?
Just checking, because English is not my native tongue.

Are there pinions that can be used without any grinding or other alterations?

Anybody any experience with these LiPo's?

They are a bit on the heavy side, 316 grams. Would that be a problem as to being as close as possible to 1,350 grams for the car raceready?
Or better not to touch them and go for IP or Orion or so?

yes, just dremel the flatspot so it is closer to the can, i did this to have more clearence between the pinion and the belt, i use 3racing, robinson and rw pinions... 30sec job and youre done! just make sure to cover the holes on the motor so the metal dust dont get in there!
