That really does suck that I'm unable to run sensorless with this esc !! I really liked my lil castle 1410. Spent 240 on the esc with pro gauge and all the motors I have are sensorless lol ! Anyway anyone recommend a good sensored motor for a Losi scte on bigger 8th scale tracks on 2s

"We are receiving the first Vtrax1's very soon, they are just one step behind the Vtrax10 and 10R. The software is nearly identical to the 10 and 10R, the only difference is aesthetics and booster BEC circuit.[/QUOTE]"

dude, Chill.. if you want to bash our software because we dont run a sensorless program, BOUNCE.
the vtx1 is still in testing.. obviously its going to take some work to get them to run on 1cell and have the right bec voltage, For the few that i know that have them they are working VERY hard at getting them dialed in! plus we just released our 1/8 buggy motors.. Sorry off-road is priority right now with 10th worlds and Roar nats in the coming few weeks.

The VTX10 and VTX10R are fully designed and tested to run as a high end sensored system, more specifically with our VST series motors. The highly complex software and tuning options are all based off the sensored operation and would not work properly sensorless. We chose to operate it sensored only for the most consistent and reliable performance. We apologize if some of you purchased it not realizing your motor would need to be upgraded as well.
Viper will be offering other esc's in the future that will support both sensored and sensorless operation, the first to hit the market being the VTX8 which we are developing right now

Smokinu, Let's cool down and back up a bit.
You folks stated that the VTX1 was right behind the VTX10 and 10R in developement, and never explained why it was delayed untill now. You folks have said (post 1303 above) that esc's that will support sensorless operation will be coming out in the future.
Was it unreasonable of me to wonder if the two were connected?
I would like an apology from you on this point.
