SC RAGE, don't patronize me. I'm not in 6th grade. I understand how research and development, production problems, etc, etc, can affect getting something to market. I was asking for an explanation of the delay. I was not angry, but I am getting close. I am dissapointed.

"Dude, chill .... BOUNCE" Not very constructive, but it turns out that he is not an employee. That would give him a reason for not knowing your company had publicly stated that they were going to develop and release esc's that would support sensorless operation in the future. But you should be aware of this.

So, in January your company states that the VTX1 (at that time known as the Vtrax1) will follow shortly after the 10 and 10R. In April your company states that it will be working on esc's that will support sensorless operation, and a 1/8th scale esc that does that will be released soon. In July I start wondering what is causing the delay in the release of the VTX1 and if it is because the design has been changed to include sensorless operation. Granted, it was wishfull thinking on my part that that might be the reason, but not having heard anything, I thouht I'ld ask and get the real scoop.

OK SC RAGE, here's a question for you:
Do you think it was unreasonable of me to ask if the delay in the release of the VTX1 was because the design had been changed to include senserloss operation?

Took my poor defenseless 10R today to the UPS store for warranty service. Please be gentle.

All of the posts by Viper personel that I referenced are in this Off Road thread. Am I wrong to assume that Viper personel read both and will knowledgably answer in either?

Marcus, you are digging a big hole here for yourself. You are not reflectling favorably on your sponsors.

ive never dealt with any of the other viper represenatives, (not saying they arent helpfull) but i just send weylin (mini-dub) a pm and he gets back to me as soon as he can, ive met him and raced with him so i can put a name with a face. but if you have a question i would pm mini dub or sc rage to make sure u are getting a correct answer to your question. Vipers customer service is second to none and they will go out of there way to help you out, and get you setup with whatever rig you are running

Guys, trying to program my VTX10R in my SCTE tonight and everything went fairly smooth, at least until I tried to access the motor menu option and it told me it is invalid or something along those lines. What am I missing here? On the plus side this pro gauge is soooooo much nicer than having to plug an esc into your laptop, I'm looking forward to putting this system through it's paces once our building is completed over our offroad track .

This response is pathetic. (Now I'm ranting) Did you even read the posts I quoted and referemced by number? Posts #121 and 1303 in this thread?

mini-dub aka Weylin Rose is a "random person" ? He wrote those posts and made those "announcements" !

I was on a "rant"? Is it now "valid"?

I'm sorry, I gave you and your company a chance. I now have no plans to purchase any of your products after this. Other manufacturers will soon have new generations of motors out, smart phone apps will appear to counter your Pro Guage, and new versions of their esc's will appear which are better than their current offerings. I'll spend my money on them.
