Wow, 33/75? Wouldn't that be a bit tall? My Tekin 17.5 is a pretty hot running 26/75 on a technical high-grip track. Maybe I aught to pick one of these up!

This undoubtedly will push our release date back a couple weeks, the esc's are all ready to go, but now we have to redo the name, all marketing materials, logos, packaging, and instruction manuals. This occurrence is both timely and untimely. It's terribly unfortunate to push the esc release date back further, but we should all be thankful this issue wasn't encountered after the esc had been released to public hands. Much more would have been at stake in that situation.

Viper would like to open the esc name to a public "contest" - If you have any ideas for a new series name for our car speed controllers please submit your idea(s) to [email protected]. Please include the following information:

-esc name ideas (and any reasoning or additional concepts behind the name is nice to know, too )
-your complete name
-shipping address
-phone number

Viper realizes and acknowledges how deep of a customer base we have already developed whom are waiting very patiently for the speed controllers. We cant apologize enough for this unforeseen delay and thank you continually for your patience and support. Customer support is our main priority.

I promise I'm more stoked to start selling esc's than all of you are to start running them Trust me they are coming as fast as possible.

Let the naming discussion begin!

Weylin, you guys need a new attorney.....or you should have used one!

I had the pleasure of running my sample speed control this weekend and I had renamed it (bada$$) before I had even seen the current issue. This is the best I have ever run. You don't realize the hiccups that another brand has until you use something better. Thanks Viper!

I ran 34/72 in a no timing stock race and my car was a rocket. And the motor came off at 130. After that weekend I stopped using timing for offroad altogether. Very fast. Now, in 13.5 4wd I ran timing and my 13.5 was chasing down 6.5s on the straight!

J.D...glad you like the speedo. I know I can tell massive differences in smoothness and power over my RSPro I have in one of my cars. Waiting on 2 more Vipers and I will be a happy man!

Thanks alot. Got in all 3 a's even though I had to bump out of the b in buggy! It was a rough weekend for me. Haha!

I had alot of people asking questions while wearing my viper billboard to! It was pretty cool to be the only person in 327 entries with one of these speed controls.

It would have been more expensive and taken longer to fight it. This is the most efficient and cost effective method to get esc's into customers hands as soon as possible. At the same time we are also making even more revisions to the esc to make it even more user friendly

No, a good attorney would have advised of the issue BEFORE any printing started, so I'm guessing nobody checked the trademark issues.......
