Just thought I would post that up and let the guys know the Viper guys commitment to making sure everyone is running smoothly. Including me.

WTG Viper!
Soo thats what he was doing on Saturday, multitasking...

Got my my VTX 10.5 combo finally wired up the rest of the way today and I was not impressed. It almost caught fire from the C terminal. It was smoking and glowing red just after a few seconds of being turned on. I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue?

Sounds like you crossed a post with solder. I would have to inspect it in person to see for sure. They are all tested from the factory for 5 min under a load. That type of failure is very uncommon. Please go to our website and fill out the rma and send it in. You have a 1 year warranty. No worries.

That is also what I though I had possibly done but wasn't the case. I called A-Main and they are getting back with me tomorrow...

Go to our website and fill out the rma and send it to us directly. Saves you about a week of turnaround.
