Have you ran your 415 yet? I just finished my first ever pack on mine, and all I can say is WOW! This car feels planted from the get go... only thing I changed so far from the kit setting is to stiffen up the front one step with the blue springs... the kit setting is too soft up front for my driving style... (btw, this is eeyan disguised as dyaz... he needs to catch up on his posts... )

Nope, making some fine adjustments to the car. I'm about 98% done (need new rear holes for my existing body that I use on my 414M). Bought new motor today (Monster of Touring) and discharge tray by Integy. My 3300 mah batteries only go up to 2600-2800 mah when I charge them. The only hop-up parts I added to the kit was the blue alum cyclinder nuts & blue spring ret. Will post some pics when I get a chance.....

I think it's because they were overtighten. I had the same problem with the EVO3 but I've now learn my lesson.

If you are only using part Ti screw, you should use them for the upper deck. Keep the steel ones in the bottom for lower CG.

did some skimming in this thread and came across this pic. Any chance of getting those green parts or a kit with green instead of the blue?

That is a Photoshop job. You can always have your parts re-anodized w/ a different color.

NVisible a friend is midway through the reanodizing of his right now. I would look to an outside source to do the parts it is labor intensive. They parts need their original ano stripped off and then re-polished.

my 415's were practically blue...:d it's got blue alumunium front body post, blue alumunium shock collar and spring retainer, blue rear alumunium knuckle ( 1 degree ), and blue wires...:d

How do the Tamiya weights of oil compare to associated or losi?

Does the 600 = 60wt or ?


Also, does anyone have the Tamiya Spring Rates? For example whats the LBs on the Tamiya Blue?

Does the new rear A mount (#53685) for the front suspension add toe out to the front hinge pins like the pro4 and XXXS? Also does anyone know where they might be in stock at?

Paul it is close but not exact. Look back in the pages here some one had a link to Ling's rate chart. It might be in the Evo thread

dway-yes it wil add sweep to the front arms if used with the front/front d block. As far as availibility if you are in the US, not overseas you might find it.

I've never really stripped the screws on my 414M2 or Evo3. I learned from reading here hehe. I just tighten them down and use thread lock to secure them. But I didn't want to take the chance with this kit. Plus Steve Wang is a great guy... so I got some Ti screws from him.. Oh... and not to mention.. I like how Ti sparks on asphalt track sometimes... hehe

Well ran the 415 today. It did pretty good. I'd still like to try a few things though on it. I ended up using my Yok SD for the main just to get some lap times on it.. and well... that was a bad mistake. It was almost a sec off pace. I gotta get that car setup right again. Gonna toss the CGM chassis and put on the RaySpeed back on. Then I can make some more accurate comparisons between the cars.


Anyways, got some more tweaking to do.

hey guys, where the quickest place to get a front bulkhead ? broke mine running in the car park yesterday i'm about to check tower/speedtech. what belt tension are you guys running ?

well, thought id report on my front diff deal... works as planned, no problems at all. very hooked up on our surface here, just gotta fine tune setup. now, i gotta go order the second locked pulley to finish the job.
