TBH my Evo 3 feels far more alive and agile than my 415 although i would say once i have the 415 setup as well sorted as the evo is it will be far faster. Rick

so what is faster for you currently? EVO3?

I have to say the EVO3 is working pretty good for me. Did win all of the last four 27T stock races including today with the EVO.
I´m watching the 415 but I´m waiting until price drops.

mr troy.. my only suggestion is to anodize it blue! like i said before, the spool worked great. i checked my car last night, no wear anywhere, even after hitting the boards at socal.

i was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time, and steve asked me to prototype. ill run this coming sunday at a parking lot race and let you know. my set up (like rod's) pushed a bit at socal, but it was like a bat out of hell coming out. car felt good overall. ill yank it after next sun and hand it over to ian to prototype, steve didnt have enough to give to me and ian. so we have to share

btw mine(center pulley) is tucked inside (bulkhead) also. i have pictures. will post soon.

jeff, too late the bulkhead has already lost its blue anodization. oh well. i had to sand it down anyways to make room for the two center pulleys.

overall, the car's drivetrain is set up great right now. its reedy race ready!

Chris you did that differently than I had thought. I was thinking of putting the pulleys back to back. Can you send me a pic of the car, straight down from the top? Want to see how the belt looks to the front.

By the way still haven't built mine yet, as it is undergoing a transformation. I hope it will be something people want to look at down there at Reedy.

As for the Blue anodizing. I could, but the black coating is a a heat treating process that is availible to me. If it were anodized, I'm not sure it would be as durable.

the SD diffs are off center... wont work for the 415, i dont think. what have been playing with is the rear set from the older belt car. it is centered... i found the 6x11 bearing i was looking for, and when they get here if my idea works, ill be sure to post pix on here.... :crossing fingers:

That´s what I heard yesterday the SD diffs are working. But I have no 415 yet for trying.
Maybe it was a mix-up with the old car.

It`s an easy car to drive fast with.
And you won´t break any one way gears.

what's all included in the kit? and what other option/tuning parts are needed? springs, swaybars sets, toe-in blocks?
