they're tlking about the alloy part where surikarn puts his personal transponder so that it's like a traditional handout transponder...

according to steve's report on www.speedtechrc.com

"New reversible lower arms. The new lower arm is a great innovation by Tamiya, which features 2 holes on one side of the arm, and 3 on the other for lower suspension arm mount. This allow the racer to really fine tune the amount of leverage the shock have over the arm (in 5 % increments according to the designer) The new arms are also made of a new prototype plastic that Tamiya is testing, which is extremely stiff."

here's a link to his report: http://f1rl.com/shizouka_hobby_show_report.htm

Concerning the diffs, I don't have much problems with grit in mine. I barely apply diff grease to the diff balls. But I do pack the thrust bearing with tons and tons of AE black grease. I figure that the rotation of the diff during racing will keep the dirt out of the diff. But if you tend to blow off the car after a race.. becareful not to blow any dirt into the diff.

As for the personal transponder holders... I've been looking for them for awhile. I thought I saw one on R10. But I didn't order it. I think it was called a "my ponder holder"... I think. But I'm not too sure if that was it. Any part numbers for the ones yall have?

Well...... . . .. .
Your looking at a pic that I came across a few days ago and what the picture is showing is the front a-arms c-hubs and knuckles of the pro4 being used on the 415.. ....since the pro4 arms are the same lenght as the new EVO4 ones...( very close ) and the c-hubs have more angles to choose from..... and it seems that one would be able to do what Surikarn did at the Reedy Race..but without using not impossible to get EVO4 parts
-Dave

just food for thought

LOL so instead of impossible to get EVO4 parts, we can try nearly impossible to get Pro4 parts?

Yeah, I was making an order from Rainbow 10 and decided to help out a friend here since he can't find any Pro4 Arms anywhere stateside. Hmmm maybe I should just keep the arms for myself and test them out haha. I'm taking it though that the hinge pins would be a direct fit? Anyways, Evo IV to come out next month... so I'm sure parts for it are soon to follow.
