I usually set my idle gap at around .7 mm or .030 inch. If you don't have the Gx motor you could try replacing the o-rings in the low speed and high speed needles. The new nitrile o-rings last much longer and work great. I have some if you can't find them locally.

Sounds like you have the idle gap way too wide, with the bottom end needle way rich to compensate for this incorrect gap. Your motor will be too rich on the bottom, so will load up and stall when it idles for any length of time.

You have PM.

Those top on-road engines sell for way too much.
Bone stock w/ EFRA 2072 pipe. I talked to Pato about it before. The 7-port has a ridiculous top end, whereas the 5 port has more power from lower midrange on up.

Offroad engines are mostly used on GT Class. You dont see much onroad engines unless over 210 feet main straight exist, thats where onroad engines kick off.

On my local track, with about 195 feet main straight, onroad .21 engines are used by couple drivers, but engines doesnt show their habilities on that straight, GT cars are heavier than 1/8 onroad so the torque of offroad engines kicks butt.

Most engines on our championship are OS VZs, OS Speed, RB C6 (very powerful on GT), Novarossi P5 and GO.

Top 3 drivers uses OS x 1 and GO x 2 ... (1 x 5 ports and myself with the 7 port) ...

cya !

I've got more coming w/ my may shipment... I'll send you one or two with the order you placed a couple of weeks ago. Also- Flywheels, clutches, etc will be available in may as well.

Dealers- I have a medium-sized shipment of GX-5Rs and GX-7Rs coming in next week, and another one due 2 weeks after that. As you already know, these are going fast- almost as soon as I unpack them. Send me your engine orders as soon as possible!
