2009 newest GO pipe EFRA 2072 will release as soon.
it's already got A-main top position in Taiwan race.
maybe GO 0801 will made reinforce stinger in the future.

+1 I really like the 007HT, I was running it on my 3-port and got amazing fuel economy with it, now I have it on my 5-port. We have a more technical than speed track so running the included venturi and the 007HT should in theory give the engine heaps of bottom end. We'll find out on Sunday, the first race with the new 5-port is then.

Default 3 Port R

Hi, I just got my new Go 3P R and I am having some problems:

It goes on ok, but as soon as I hit the throttle a bit harder ( say 1/4-1/2) it dies. The interesting thing is that if I run it with the glow plug ignitor it works fine. I am using a LRP 6 plug, is this too cold?

Thanks.

The 0801 does NEED a stinger reinforcment. Mine bent and 2 others I know had the whole stinger break off. The 2047 stinger is great. All of them should be like that.

Don't know what your ambient temps are like, but the GO's do like a hot plug with the standard factory shimming. Try an OS P4 or P3, or something equivalent. LRP#6 is a fairly cool plug in comparison. Possibly you are a little rich on the bottom end too. Make sure your idle gap is .7 to 1mm max and re-tune from there.

Hey guys I need some help. I have a new Massive Mods stage 5 5port that I broke in on my bench. Now I have it in my buggy and I can't get it to run. It will barely hold an idle and sometime it just revs to the moon without doing anything. I have the HSN at flush and the LSN at 1.5 turns in. It is a gen 5 engine with the long LSN. I know I have a carb issue somewhere but to be honest I am about to ditch this carb and buy a vspec carb. Any help would be great.

I had this problem with my 5 port and was far too lean on the bottom, and running a P3 plug

sounds like servo glitching/or you have an air leak. and my guess sitting here is air leak. get some red sensor safe atv silicon at your local auto parts house and remove and apply around the back plate. do the same for the carb. pull the carb out and you will see a seal. put a litle around the seal and where the pinch bolt goes. let it dry try running again. I am in the process of breaking in my 7 port also, but I did all of the above before I mounted. also check all fuel lines/filters.

Hey Motox and Bizzg i dont have you as registered buyers of my modified engines. Can you identify your selves ? Or take a photo of the engine cerial number for verification ? All our engines are cross refrenced with their owners. if we dont hear from you we will understand

A big thanks to Brian @ Pro Twister Mods. He did the break in on my Go 5-port. I ran it for the first time today. It was spot on! That engine absolutely rips. I'm running it with the Dynamite 007HT, the bottom and mid-range is amazing. I clear most of our jumps with minimal run up due to the massive torque it's putting out. I was planning on leaving nitro all together, but this engine has me intrigued. I'm going to race buggy electric now, but I think I'm going to enjoy this summer's truggy racing with the Go.

Mark this is Russ. I believe I got mine fixed. I tightened my pinch bolts up a little and changed glow plugs and its running like a champ.

Is there a difference between the Gen5 5 port offered by Mark at MassiveMods and the 5 port sold at Amain?

Looks like the cooling head is different and Massivemods has the turbo head button?

I think amain my have the old pics up/gen4? I would email and ask amain. I have dealt with mark from massive mods, and even though I always by from amain when it comes to the go engines I will always deal with massive mods.
