They would be the same , id say A Main hasnt updated their pic. The Latest generation are the Gen 5.5. We have confirmed the changes with the factory and they are already in distribution. We have them here is stock and id say the US etc will have them too.

The 5.5 is even nicer to drive if you can imagine that !

So what's the final word on getting conrods in the US? I see availability is still very limited. As I push past 2-3 gallons I'm going to want to keep a close on the conrod in my 5-port and change it accordingly. Problem is I still don't see them available anywhere. I find this a bit disheartening, I'm not too worried now but as the gallons start going through my engine I'll have more concern. The ultimate disappoint would be if I have to shelve this engine and by something else due to conrod availability. Please tell me there readily available somewhere.....

Thumbs up

massive mods, they have on their site, also email mark tell him you need c clips he will email you back with what you need to do. that's what I did. was here in 5-7 days. I have been looking and waiting since January to buy these items here in the states. no luck. haven't even heard a peep out of russ jones our U.S. rep. All worried about doing the eb mods engines, what about the regular costumer that needs parts? like I stated in another post when it comes to buying anything to do with go engines it is massive mods all the way. they know how to take care of business.

I have not had one of the latest ones apart but by looking in the exhaust port it has a titanium nitrided wrist pin.

Rex

Rearview, you have a pm, I have lots of rods.

People already stopped running GO's at the end of last year due to the part availability and I can see this trend continuing. If they can get the conrods ordered it's in their best interest to ensure places like Amain are stocked up with them at the very least. I PM'd 22racer about the conrods he has available, and in the future I'll also talk to massive mods.

rearveiw, you need to do what I did stock up on the parts.when I ordered I did 2 con rods/2sets c clips/2 sets wrist pins. I bought an ebmods 5port off of a gent that lives close to me. It had 1 gallon through it. Now I am coming up to the second gallon, so as a precaution I am replacing the con rod. the go 7 port I just started to break in on this past Saturday. so one rod set will go into the 5port soon. then the other will be there when I need it for the 7 port. I love my go engines, but agree with you on parts. On my eb modded 5 port I am still not sure I like it all that much. the reason is I think it belongs in a truggy. I'll see after I get the 7 going. also I am a beginner racer so the power my be to much for me to handle also.

The differences are minor tolerance changes on the crank to improve longevity of the entire engine. i doubt anyone would be able to notice unless you have a veriner that measures .0000 mm

Crank case rubber seal has been changed

there are some more changes coming to fine tune improvements that i am testing at the moment. But they will be released as they are approved by the factory.

im really impressed with the RnD of the Go Factory. They are so keen to hear new ideas and theories , you can tell they are enthusiasts and make engines with passion. im really lucky to be in the position im in .. like a kid in a toy store lol

Hi does anyone know if the SH 2060 pipe will work on a 7p .thanks

Other pipe i have is a nova 9901, rb 2045, sirio 2013, jp2.

which would work best in a hyper 9, I like a strong bottom but smooth, good econemy. also if none of these will work what would be the correct pipe.

thanks
