hi there the circlips that hold the pin that holds the piston on the conrod fell out and totaled my go 5 port! its a generation 2 type and im wondering if this is a comonfault or it has been rectified with the gen 5 versions.i hadnt relaced the conrod or anything this motor is also standard with a turbo button
cheers in advance

Anyone tried the AE factory team pipe and header on the 7 port? I know the 7 port calls for a midrange pipe and the 2035 has that look at the end and I always wanted to try 1. And for some reason that new trinity "bat" pipe has been calling my PTM 5 port LOL. Its said it works on any mill, I am going to be patient and try to see if someone got 1 and will let me run a few laps with it 1st but we will see.

Bummer !! This does happen occasionaly. Same thing happened to my 7 Port last year. I don't think it is any more prevelant in the GO motors than any other brand. Just dam bad luck
Sometimes the G clips just break, and sometimes they can compress at very high revs I believe and pop out of the grooves, usually when they get old, which might be the case with your Gen 2 motor.

Hey Malik, have you tried the 2047 pipe and 0801 header combo on your 7 Port yet ? Be keen to hear your thoughts.

Yes, The Team Associated 2035 pipe should be fine on the 7port. Very similar feel as the 053 pipe.

I have a 5 port and a 7 port. OK so the 086 is a good choice for the 5 port, which would be best suited for the 7 port? The 053?

Just for the record... the Thunder Tiger 2035 is the same pipe as well, cheaper by the TT name I believe. I ran the 2035 on my 3-port this past weekend, fuel economy was good and the engine had great top end.

Grizz I dont have 1 yet I may get 1 from a freind of mine to use as a back up or for club races. I really want a 3 but I wont buy a used mill off anyone and the guy who has this 7 port is 1 of the only guys I would buy from. I think if I do get it I am going to try the AE or TTR pipe, if not an 053 or the 2047. I dont have the 0801 anymore i had the old model with the flimsy stinger.

If you really want to learn to drive a 3 port sport will teach you to run proper fast line, you wont make the jumps if you dont lol.

Seriously I ran with a 3 port sport and it was the fastest i have ran, sadly the engine wasnt to happy with me and self destructed itself about twenty minutes in.

The 25 it has better fuel economy than the 28.
Go for the 28 if you want raw power and dont mind about the fuel economy.
