Just run the wide bottom bumper with the standard top bumper plate and see if you can get the short 1/8th style aluminium front body posts and you are set!
These pics were with the standard body posts still on the car!
Man that looks soo sexy. Definitely going to get a lola for my mugen for practicing. The other proline one I have was mounted up for the R40 and not so well. I really wish I could run some nitro onroad right now. There is a posibility of running electric, but I love the larger tracks.

Taking a few steps back here....my first Mugen kit.

Are the 2-speed gear sets supposed to turn freeley of each other or are the supposed to be locked together on the shaft? I just want to make sure I got them together right.

Thanks,

Nitroes, they should lock together when the motor and 2 speed gear are touching, no worries there right.

Hope this help

If the engine is installed then they seem lock together. but without the engine installed. they can turn independent of each other... but the 1st gear will only turn in one direction freely.Really pay attention to the book Good Luck

Hello Johndayo101, I have Mike Swauger set-up on my car for the past 4 months and It is awesome for hi-bite track and med-bite tracks and is proven that it works on both contions, but you have to like steering and able to pull the triger easy at times but it is fast with that set-up and the one-way. I have put the diff the front with 100000 and it is good but around 2 tens slower at times but real easy to drive. I can fax it to you or I will also try to don load it to my next meesage or call me at SpeedWorld and I can give it to you quickly.

I hope this helps

OK, so if I am holding the 2-speed gear assembly in my hands the first gear should spin freely in either direction and the 2nd gear only in 1 direction?

NO... the 1st speed (bigger Spur) should spin freely in one direction. the 2nd speed(smaller gear) should spin freely in both directions if it doesn't then your 2 speed shoes r out of adjustment. Hope this helps
