Welcome to E clip city!

What's the good news guys? Just rebuild my mtx4, swapped over some servos so now I have both JRs on the car and looking into a new .12 as well with one already on my mind to be bought. Thinking of trying that G4S disc brake with the teflon pads as someone mentioned - is that a good setup? I will try the car with the new throttles servo first before swapping. Some other plans are to experiment with few other items that people seem to like on the car and maybe even the rubber belts however I have yet to break or ruin one of the stock urethane belts. The car also rolls quite free with them too.

It's probably a combination of the bearings and the belts. Try Acer ceramic bearings. Those ceramics "seem" smoother than the Boca bearings.

Are you thinking of running your 4 again? I figured you would probably be selling that too.

Selling my Mugens ???? No way...... they will retired in my home cabinet **, while others will be post in classifieds

** I already prepared a retirement plan for all my mugens : complete set of arms, bulkheads, main chassis, spur gears, and many more

Hi,

Quick question guys.

My engine revs up a lot and NEVER shifts into second.

I will try unscrewing the two screws a bit, maybe that will make it shift?

Should I be looking for anything else that's causing this problem?

LMK,

Thanks!

Default MTX4

Make sure your flywheel nut is tight.
The engine could be reving up, and the flywheel is not tight to the engine itself.
Check the clutch also. make sure it is adjusted right

yes,at 1st i try adjust gun 1st, but is not epa or setting make this problem...

then my buddy spotted is the pinion area too tight (it should move freely...),so what we do ,we unscrew 2.5mm n screw back , it move freely again... (taken out 1 shims out)

then , i ran another fuel, come back, the pinion tighten again... same way i unscrew the 2.5mm again n screw back , it ok again...

anyone know what coz this ???my bearing are okie

ps:now every tank i use, i have to check that pinion if not , i start engine it will move by itself like 1/10 of trottle speed...
