Thnks Chippy for the info. The guy I bouht it from says he updated it from a 4 to a 4r. Lucky for me the track my son races at is MUGEN country. So I guess once I get the car and have someone look it over and hopefully be able to tell me it's true or not. Worse caes I just buy the parts and upgrade it. Thanks again.

Can someone measure the pivotballs on it's mtx 4 for me?
i would like to know the diameter of the ball and the diameter of the threads.

i want to use the Ti ones that mugen makes on my NT1 because mugen is the only one who makes quality Ti pivotballs.

Thank you

MTX4 Pivot Ball = 6mm with 3mm screw threads.

NT1 Pivot Ball = 5.8mm with 3mm screw threads

Mugen Pivot balls wont fit into NT1 plastic connectors.

I use Mugen Pivot balls and Mugen plastic connectors in my NT1.

Ok thanks for your fast answer
But what do you exactly mean with the plastic connectors?.
Do you mean the uprights and steering blocks, or do you mean the nuts which secures the pivot balls into the upright?.

I mean these connectors. See picture in the attachment.

Btw, the picture come from Mugen Seiki MTX4. You should be able to know the part number as well.

A little confused... I think he want's to know if he can use the ti-pivots balls that came with MTX-3 prospec on his NT1. You gave him a picture of the titanuim ti-rods. The Mugen ti pivots balls are great. Not sure if they fit the NT1

I give the picture to describe part number H0867 ( pivot balls ) and C0111C ( plastic connectors ), because H0867 won't fit into NT1 plastic connectors. I hope this is clear, now.

Those are the wrong pivot balls. Mugen never released those in titanium. I believe he's talking about these pivot balls PT# D0-105r/l These are what adjust camber. The part you listed was toe adjustment.Hope this helps

Default MTX-4

Hi,
I have just bought an MTX-4 and the former driver was running a 25T front side belt pulley. I have driven the car and find it quite hard to drive so I was going to go back to the original 24T pulley but a fellow racer said I would then have to stagger the tires eg 58mm front 60mm rears but if I run the 25T pulley I could run 60mm tires front and rear is this correct?? Thanks

I got the same quiestion, the bigger the front pulley less transfer for the front tires, smaller the front pullet moore transfer for the front tires. for me is easier to drive with 25T pulley and moore responsive is. for me try both pulleys to see the one that fit to your settings and driving style
