Hi Guys
I ran the Clone for the 1st time at the weekend in the KO in the UK. What a car, it goes exactly where you want it to go. I made 7th in the A, and came 8th overall 'AWSOME CAR'. Thanks to Stew Knoble, Elliott Harper and Paul Upton for the setup.

Yea a mahusive difference in every way shape and form. The Losi Type 'R' is NOT a bad car, it just works more on foams on tarmac than it does with rubber in my eyes, but the Clone has everything I want, steering, mid corner, and out of a corner speed if my Q2 hadn't gone off (I should have reset it on the day) as they tend to wander off its settings, I reckon I could have gone around 5-6 seconds quicker. Very very happy with the new car.

Hi
To honest I didn't even look at the kit setup, and used the what Stew Noble's set-up and it was awsome, but I do know that they changed the set-up over the weekend and the car look real good. The only thing I changed on the car was the rear upper deck from the purple ali part to the carbon fibre part which made the car feel more consistant and planted on the rear deck when I pushed the car harder. I am waiting on the set-up the Clone camp ended up on, bearing in mind they run brushless 5 cell mod as I run 19t brushed

ye i was at the gp at the weekend but struggled a bit all weekend and only ended up in the d final. That was with my mi2ec and think i need a bit of an upgrade and i always liked my freinds cyclone so i have got one to try and im just setting it up as the worlds kit basic setup but it would be nice if i could have a look at yours also to see any differences.

Anyone know if HB plans to offer a better diff screw kit like they now offer as optional on their D4 buggy? With carpet season right around the corner, the diff screw is subject to alot more stress and I have found it to be the one weak link in the car. On asphalt the car/diff is killer but with the added traction of carpet, brushless motors, and tighter diff settings required, the diff screw still breaks even with all the tips and tricks posted in previous posts.
