Tamiya TRF415
I got it from a racer here in Canada. I have a Std 415 so i know it has the same suspension, was just confirming that the MSX is supposed to have the LWR suspension? Also what are the bearing sizes of the small rear uprights? thanks

It came in the blue MSX kit box, so its not an upgraded one. Im thinking the previous owner broke some of the LW suspension parts. Pity, i should have noticed it in the pics. Thanks guys, ill look for a set of LW suspension of ebay or something. Thanks

Does anyone know if the 4mm chassis is drilled for the MSX center post which is attached to the rease MSX bulkheads?

Well now that our carpet season is over, is the LW suspension better for asphalt? or theres not much difference? Ive have basically 5-6 cars worth of the old suspension, so no problem there, just wondering whether you all think i should start with the LW suspension for outdoor asphalt? Thanks

That said if you have a ton of standard suspension spares I'd probably run that just to save $$. Or if you are looking to fire sale some of those piece let me know

Here in Europe almost all of us with the MSX use the old 415 arms for indoor (carpet/rubber).
Looks like the LW arms will be the choice for outdoor (asphalt) though...

I my testing with the old v.s. the lw arms, I found that on very high grip indoor carpet (rubber tires) that the old arms caused the car to traction roll more easily than the lw arms. Have you experienced this?...or the opposite?...just curious.
For foam tire racing I am running the old suspension up front and the lw in the rear. I like the feel of the lw (with hpi knuckles) upfront better but the c-hubs or the knuckles break too easily compared with the original old suspension.
