Which front pully did you get?
The TA05 (front) diff pully or the TA05 one-way front pully(#53867)?

I got the one way pulley but it actually looks identical. the only difference is the center hole is much bigger.

Strike that last post. It does not fit my Speedtech spool because it uses 3mm screws to mount. The Tamiya one way seems to work. Guess i need to get a Tamiya spool. Today was the first time i ever used a spool and it seemed a lot easier to drive. The only thing i am worried about is that the spool is so much harder on the drive train. Today was a lot of fun at Tamiya, the place was packed. There ws always someone on the track and sometimes as many as 7 or 8 cars at once.

Ok i got the ta05 pulleys installed and here is what i have found. The diff pulley seems to be a direct fit but the one way is a bit more of a clallenge. It is wider so it will not fit between the bulkhead without narrowing it up. it is probably only a couple of mm but it is still enough to cause issues. I can see where belt tension may be an issue as well as i have them 4 notches from full loose on some old belts and they still could be looser.

Hey Tag.. Ron Z has those parts... I gave him all my spare "old" suspension stuff when I sold him the car.... Tower Hobbies doesn't have them as that part number.. but they do have the "racing" set. But it costs alot more. Just type in TA04 under the search option. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZR77&P=7

The 05 pulley is slightly wider, but i found if you loosen off all the bulkhead screws including the shock tower screws and install the 1 way with the 05 pulley, when you tighten everything back up it will fit ok. although there is no sideways movement in the pulley, prob not the best for efficiency but it will run fine.

thanks, but i believe it's important to have the efficiency. No doubt it will roll but if it's roll inefficiently maybe it's better to leave it unchanged. Anyway, for those who tried, any significant improvement from the stock drivetrain?
