I am quite sure he got a kit outside of USA. After all, I think he is from Indonesia.

Reason I ask is I am fairly sure the US kits have new bulkheads that have remedied this problem.

For some reason, I can't read your post Redvet79. Something has been distracting me.

hi scott,
from reading the posts in this forum lately, i notice that the impression of the kits coming from the US is far more superior than the ones in Asia. it's all good but i was just wondering what the actual difference is....
are they of different production?
materials used are different?
quality control?
i am a big mugen fan and i know the quality of the car is superb. but now it seems that if it's mugen from asia, then the quality may suffer. my assumptions are based on previous posts....
thanks

How can we tell which one is from the US and which is from asia. What about serial number? Any reference for that. How can we know such serial number is for U.S?

US spec should have a MUGEN USA serial # and MUGEN USA stickers (seal) on the box. Just like that one from EBAY.

And I think someone already posted the MUGEN Europe spec.....

However....US kits has better or different materials? I doubt it.....As MS already mentioned, US kits came with a set of foams. that will tell the different between US kits and ASIA kits....which has no foams.

And for sure.......US kits should have better tech support from Mugen USA. But does that mean when we call MUGEN USA for questions.......we must provide the Serial # beforehand?

Don't forget, Mugen is a Japanese brand.......since when USA customer has the best stuff that is mfr by Japan...? Skyline GTR - still waiting...EVO8, only the water down version....STi WRX...may be the closest that we can get.

Buy US spec.......if your kit missing a screw, Mugen USA will mail it to you free of charge. If you get a oversea kit....you have to learn how to speak chinese or japanese first and be ready for the heavy long distance phone bill.

I remembered VETEQ did that 5 years ago with a VETEQ Ownership VIP club with a VIP card and #......
