If it is new then they are a bear to get off. The only way to do it is to tug on the rod uncomfortably hard for my liking. Once you have a few tanks thru the motor you will find it easier.

I have one and been using it for about a year now. Its performance is just abit faster than a stock S5 in fact my own modded S5 is way faster that my JPS5.

It is quite possible. As a matter of fact, I have a non turbo button (new) that I will trade you for the turbo button that you have. Let me know if you are interested.

Default JP FX 5 ports

Hi,

Could anyone with experience tell me what the JP FX 5 ports or 3 ports like compared to the like of the RB Rody v12 5 ports, or nova max or the sirio outlaw. Where is ts the most power produce, i.e bottom, mid or top etc etc ? Currentlly running a rb rody 5 ports in mtx 3, but looking for a new engine, and was thinking of a JP FX.

Thanks

From my experience, I'm very satisfied with the bottom power from my JP FX. Top end I think almost the same as any modified engine such as Novamax and ZAC. But looks like RB still has a little bit more power on the straight line.

Mr. JP himself has done this to my engine (which my friend borrowed for the WC in Brazil) It's weird because he put the shim outside of the sleeve.

Have any of you experienced with this? Whats behind this idea? What is he want to achieve for its power?

Well, it raises the exhaust port height.
